Residents in Portugal

Access to parks and monuments managed by Parques de Sintra is free on Sundays and public holidays for all residents in Portugal. To benefit from this free service, you must go to the monument's ticket office on the day of your visit and present your Citizen Card.

 

If you do not have a Citizen Card of the Portuguese Republic, you must present an identification document and a residence certificate. For this purpose, the following documents are valid:

 

  • the registration certificate for EU/EEA/Swiss Citizen (issued by the city council of the area of residence);
  • the certificate of permanent residence for EU/EEA/Swiss citizens (issued by the Foreigners and Borders Service);
  • and the residence permit for citizens of third countries (issued by the Foreigners and Borders Service).

Purchase in advance

When purchasing your ticket online at least three days in advance, you will benefit from a 15% discount. This discount can be combined with other discounts.

Visit more than one monument

When purchasing tickets to visit more than one location at the same time of purchase, you benefit from the following discounts: 5% for 2 locations; 6% for 3 locations; 7% for 4 locations; 8% for 5 locations; 10% for 6 locations. These discounts can be combined with other discounts.

Discount for people with disabilities

Our commitment to Social Responsibility is reflected in the pricing policy, with a reduction in the price of tickets for people with disabilities by 70% at the Convent of the Capuchos and National Palace of Sintra and 50% at the remaining Parks and Palaces.

 

The person requesting the service must present, whenever requested, adequate proof.

 

Entrance fees will not be charged for those accompanying a person with some type of disability.

Journalists

Access for journalists to the monuments managed by Parques de Sintra is free upon presentation of the professional card number. Access must be requested in advance via email at [email protected], indicating the date of the visit, as well as, in the case of a report, its content. A copy of the professional journalist card must also be attached.
