Monuments closed due to extreme weather conditions

Circulation within the Sintra Hills was conditioned by decision of the Municipality of Sintra, by the end of the morning of this Tuesday, due to extreme weather conditions.

Until 23:59 this Tuesday, a ban on travel and permanence in forest areas will be in effect.

The Park and National Palace of Pena, the Moorish Castle, the Convent of the Capuchos and the Park and Palace of Monserrate will therefore be closed. The National Palace of Queluz, although outside the forest areas, will also be closed as a precaution.

Tickets previously purchased for the Park of Pena, the Moorish Castle, the Convent of the Capuchos and the Park and Palace of Monserrate can be used on any other dates. Tickets for visits to the Palace of Pena on these dates can be refunded by contacting us using the form below.
