Concert rescheduled for September 16 (update: 11/09/2023)

This concert has been rescheduled for the new date of September 16th, after the cancellation of the originally scheduled date (September 10th) due to the forecast of poor weather.

Listening and opening space for creativity. These are two of the best ways to spread jazz, to create new audiences.

And if the audience can be part of the show, the closer we will be to achieving this goal. It was with these ideas in mind that we brought this proposal by Nuno Cintrão to the Jazz at Monserrate programme for 2023, a unique experience of musical creation in which the audience is invited to be part of the performance, actively participating in it and experimenting and discovering a little more about the paths of improvisation using the voice and other instruments. Alongside Nuno Cintrão on stage and the audience that wants to join, we will have Katerina L´Dokova on the piano and voice, Luís Pinto on the bass and Miguel Moreira on the drums and percussion. A morning of celebration in the Park of Monserrate, with musicians and audience gathered around the paths of improvisation.

  • Nuno Cintrão: Conception, musical direction
