Concert rescheduled for September 17 (update: 11/09/2023)

This concert has been rescheduled for the new date of September 17th at 2 pm, after the cancellation of the originally scheduled date (September 9th at 4 pm) due to the forecast of poor weather.

One of the areas in which jazz is strongest is experimentation, both in terms of the line-ups and the themes interpreted. For the second concert within Jazz at Monserrate 2023, we open space for the duo composed of Bernardo Tinoco on the saxophone and Tom Maciel on the keyboards. The two young and talented musicians bring original themes to the stage, composed with both instruments in mind, also adding electronic sounds through the use of synthesisers and audio processing or the audible presence of the duduk, a traditional Armenian instrument. An early afternoon that is expected to be challenging and engaging.

Musicians

  • Bernardo Tinoco: Saxophones, flute and duduk
  • Tom Maciel: Keyboards, synthesizers and electronics
