João Pedro Henriques

He began riding aged ten and was a federated rider across three sports: jumps, dressage and competitive equestrian riding. He was the student of the riders João Trigueiros de Aragão, Diogo de Lafões, Master Nuno de Oliveira and Dr. Guilherme Borba. He joined the Portuguese School of Equestrian Art in 1980, one year after its foundation before completing an internship at the Spanish Riding School of Vienna, Austria in 1983. He is an international judge for APSL. He has been Master-Chief Rider of the Portuguese School of Equestrian Art since 2012.
