Joquer was born in Alter on February 22, 2014, from the relationship between Quejovem and Caraibas. At the Portuguese School of Equestrian Art he has three brothers from his father's side, with whom he shares both technical qualities and training sessions- Jaque, Jaqal and Paquete - and also Machado, a brother from his mother's side. He is as well the grandson of the famous horse Ruby, who at the London Olympics in 2012 placed 16th in the KUR final. His debut in the School's shows was in the Horse Running Free number and he currently stands out in the number of the Picaria Real doing the Levades by hand or while ridden.
