Elvetico was born on March 11, 2009. Like almost all of his colleagues from Alter, Elvetico entered the Portuguese School of Equestrian Art at the age of four. He is the son of the stallion Viheste, who used to compete in dressage events, and his mother is Zarjuela. He has two brothers at the School, Favorito, on his father's side, and Hihato, on his mother's side. A specialist in the Pas de Trois and the Pas de Quatre, Elvetico is a very curious and needy horse, who is always trying to attract attention, and anything can distract him.
