Monserrate celebrates the beginning of summer with extraordinary melodies in the Palace's Music Room, performed by pianist António Areal.

Come and enjoy the good weather in Monserrate, have tea at the Monserrate Tea House, and walk around to the sound of beautiful musical moments.

It was in the summer that this magnificent property owned by an English family came to life in the 19th century. The Cook family spent the summer here, reveling in the beauty of the palace and gardens. Music, which emanated from the magnificent room of the same name, was always present in these stays, permeating the palace corridors and enlivening the surrounding garden area. Don't miss this experience that, over 150 years ago, always welcomed summer!
