Parques de Sintra becomes a member of the Business Council for Sustainable Development Portugal

24 Nov 2022

In line with its commitments to social and environmental responsibility, Parques de Sintra has joined the Business Council for Sustainable Development (BCSD) Portugal and will be taking part in the Sustainability Days organised by BCSD Portugal in Lisbon from 23 to 25 November. Natural Capital, Sustainable Finance and Value Chain will be the topics under discussion at a meeting that brings together national and international experts, including Claire Tutenuit (EpE - Entreprises pour l'Environnement), founder of act4nature international, an initiative that brings together companies, academics and NGOs to mobilise companies in favour of biodiversity.

Parques de Sintra will be represented at the event by Luís Calaim, who will ratify the BCSD Portugal Charter of Principles at a closing celebration on 25 November alongside representatives of all other signatory entities. The BCSD Portugal Charter of Principles was conceived to bring Portuguese companies together around common commitments to sustainable development.

The Business Council for Sustainable Development Portugal is a non-profit association that brings together more than 140 leading companies in Portugal, which are actively committed to the transition to sustainability.
