Convent of the Capuchos
Contextualized visit to the Convent of the Capuchos that presents the life of this religious house and the relationship between the friars and nature. The Convent of Santa Cruz da Serra de Sintra, which became known for the extreme poverty of its construction, materializes the ideal of fraternity and universal brotherhood of the Franciscan friars who inhabited it, from the 16th century until the end of the 18th century, when it was abandoned due to the extinction of religious orders, determined by the liberal regime.
