Son of Beirão and Jaxila, Nubio was born on May 3, 2017, in Alter. He came to the Portuguese School of Equestrian Art at the age of four accompanied by his brother on his father's side, Nublado, joining his two older brothers, Hobelix and Jaborandi. He is also the grandson of the famous horse Ruby, who at the London Olympics in 2012 placed 16th in the KUR final. At the School he is known to be a nice, gentle and calm horse. Despite still having things to learn he has already made its grand debut at the Equestrian Gala in January 2023, in the Carousel of Young Horses number.
