The Queen’s Office
This area served as the Countess of Edla’s Room before later becoming the Office of Queen Amelia. From the queen’s time here, there remain the desk where Amelia would write her correspondence and the pau-santo bookcases. Reaching back further are the wooden columns, the Spanish cabinet and the Meissen porcelain pieces that have been here since the time of the Countess of Edla.
