Reopening of the Sintra Hills this Saturday, 13 June

Following the change in the forecast weather conditions, the Municipality of Sintra has lifted the closure order for the Sintra Hills forest perimeter.

Parques de Sintra therefore informs that the monuments located within this perimeter will be open to the public this Saturday, 13 June, as usual.

The following monuments will therefore be open:

Park and National Palace of Pena
Moorish Castle
Park and Palace of Monserrate
Convent of the Capuchos

The National Palaces of Sintra and Queluz, as well as the facilities of the Portuguese School of Equestrian Art, in Belém, will also remain open as usual.

Parques de Sintra recommends that visitors check the official channels before their visit and always follow the instructions of the authorities and on-site teams.
