29-31/05/2026: disruptions to access and visits at the Moorish Castle

On May 29, 30 and 31, access to and visits at the Moorish Castle will experience some disruptions due to the MXGUP event taking place on May 30.

On May 29, the event setup may cause occasional disruptions to access to the monument and certain visitor areas.

On May 30, the physical ticket office will be closed. Tickets for the monument may only be purchased at the kiosk (next to the Visitor Support Centre) and through Parques de Sintra’s online ticket office.

On May 31, the Moorish Castle will open to visitors at 10:30 a.m.
