01/11/2025: Access Restrictions in the Sintra Hills

Please be informed that on 1 November, two Special Classification Stages (SS) of the Lisbon Rally will affect traffic in the Sintra Hills, particularly access to the Convent of the Capuchos and the Sanctuary of Peninha.

For safety reasons, the section of road N247-3 between Pé da Serra, the Convent of the Capuchos and the Peninha Forest Road will be closed to motor traffic from 12:00 to 17:00.

Visitors are advised to plan their visit outside this period, or to opt for other monuments and parks managed by Parques de Sintra that are not affected by this event.
