March 18 and 19: Temporary change to the visiting route at the Palace of Pena

On the 18th and 19th of March, the Passage Rooms and the Sacristy of the National Palace of Pena will be closed for maintenance work.
As a result, the interior visitor route through this monument will be temporarily altered, requiring a brief passage through the exterior, as follows:
- In the Sacristy Atrium, the route will be diverted to the Chapel Terrace (this will be the only opportunity to visit the Chapel).
- Visitors will then re-enter the palace through the Cabaças Entrance (in the Triton Tunnel) to access the Reception Room.
For ticket holders with access only to the Pena Park visiting the Palace Terraces, movement through the Arches Courtyard and the Triton Tunnel will be restricted to allow for the creation of a passageway for visitors on the interior circuit, meaning that access to the interior of the Palace Chapel will not be possible.
We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
