Orquestra Assintomática with Fuensanta

In this promising collaboration, the Orquestra Assintomática joins forces with Mexican singer, double bassist and composer Fuensanta for a musical creation where lyricism meets improvisation, and roots intertwine with reinvention.
Founded in 2020, the Orquestra Assintomática brings together musicians from Portugal, Brazil, Argentina, Italy, Venezuela and Uruguay. Starting from the traditional tango ensemble, the group builds its own language — shaped by the crossing of cultures, genres and geographies.
Fuensanta, a multidisciplinary artist born in the misty forests of Veracruz and based in Amsterdam, brings to the project her rare, intimate poetry, her double bass as an extension of her body, and a way of singing that is, at once, gesture, word and silence.
In this concert, the orchestra’s arrangements intertwine with Fuensanta’s compositions and voice, creating a dense yet delicate sonic universe — one in which memory, invention and deep listening coexist.
