Embark on a journey through time at the majestic National Palace of Sintra! Let yourself be transported back to the charms of the Middle Ages and come across court figures skilfully dancing to the sound of medieval melodies and, while you visit, be guided by the magic of the festivities of the Portuguese court and discover how they danced in the 15th and 16th centuries. An unmissable experience for all history and culture lovers!

During this hour, you can see ladies, nobles and other figures of the time in the Swans Hall, the Galley Room and other rooms, where history comes to life with experiences from the times of King João I and King Manuel I, with magnificent period costumes faithful to the attire of the nobility. The historical accuracy of the dances we witness is ensured by the 'Dances with History' Association of Sintra, which, for over 20 years, has been presenting a repertoire of medieval Renaissance and 17th century dances.

Be dazzled in these days by the art of movement, the sound of ancient instruments and the dances from other times at the Sintra Palace.
