Black felt tricorn, Quince stick and Gloves
Black felt tricorn with gold braid has on the left side red and white ribbons overlain by a large gilded button bearing the coat of arms of King João V in relief. In the case of Master-Riders, in addition to this button, these ribbons are overlain by a large gilded clip. The quince riding crop is part of the uniform.
