Visit to the Sanctuary of Peninha

Often shrouded in fog, the Sanctuary of Peninha frequently arouses the curiosity of those who explore the western slope of the Sintra Hills, overlooking Cabo da Roca. From now on, it will be possible to get to know this historic site through a new mediated visit. Following a historical overview, participants are invited to discover the ruins of the Chapel of São Saturnino as well as the interior of the Chapel of Our Lady of Peninha, on a journey that addresses the history, the legends and the natural surroundings of this site.
