Dominic Ingham Quartet 'Role Models'

Dominic Ingham is one of the most innovative violinists on today’s European jazz scene. A powerful communicator and performer, he is also a composer of deeply personal music that blends British folk roots, classical training, and the language of contemporary jazz.
In Monserrate, he appears with his quartet to perform a selection of original pieces, largely drawn from the acclaimed album 'Role Models' — a collection of lyrical works, rich in colour and character, that showcase his distinctive approach to composition and improvisation.
The quartet has been gaining increasing recognition from both audiences and critics, with performances at venues such as Ronnie Scott’s, Love Supreme, the Royal Albert Hall, and the EFG London Jazz Festival.
Nominated in 2020 for the Parliamentary Jazz Awards as Jazz Newcomer of the Year and a finalist in the prestigious Zbigniew Seifert International Jazz Violin Competition, Dominic Ingham has established himself as one of the most expressive and original voices of the jazz violin today.
A concert that promises emotion, subtlety and communion — in the inspiring setting of the Monserrate gardens.
