Monuments on the Sintra Hills closed due to fire risk

Due to weather conditions, the relevant authorities declared very high rural fire danger, which has resulted in restricted access to the Sintra Hills over the coming days.
While this weather-related risk persists, as a preventive safety measure, access to the Sintra Hills is prohibited and the following monuments will remain closed:

Convent of the Capuchos (closed on 26, 27, 28 and 29 July)
- Park and National Palace of Pena (closed on 27, 28 and 29 July)
- Moorish Castle (closed on 27, 28 and 29 July)
- Park and Palace of Monserrate (closed on 27, 28 and 29 July)

The National Palaces of Sintra and Queluz, as well as the facilities of the Portuguese School of Equestrian Art in Belém, remain open under their usual conditions.
