Gardens of the National Palace of Queluz
The gardens of the National Palace of Queluz, included since the beginning in the construction project of the Palace, stand out for the various spaces that attest to the exquisite taste of the Portuguese Royal Family in the 18th century.
The contextualized visit reveals the main leisure areas, such as the Superior Gardens and the Tiled Canal, which served as the setting for the most sumptuous parties and celebrations that the Palace hosted, and explores various decorative elements, such as fountains, lakes or statues depicting classical mythology. On the other hand, there are also other points that show interest in scientific knowledge, such as the Botanical Garden.
