Parques de Sintra runs daily guided visits with fixed timetables and no need for any pre-booking. These visits are led by specialist guides who enable a better understanding of the historical, architectural, artistic and landscape values of these monuments. The daily tours, with a 90-minute duration, may take place in Portuguese, English or Spanish and come at a cost of €5 per person in addition to the entrance ticket to the respective monument.
Timetable:
• National Palace of Pena: 2.30pm
• National Palace of Sintra: 2.30pm
• National Palace of Queluz: 10.30am
Periods with two daily guided visits (in the month of Easter and July and August):
• National Palace of Pena (exceptional tour, see note below): 10.30am; 2.30pm
• National Palace of Sintra: 10.30am; 2.30pm
• National Palace of Queluz: 10.30am; 2.30pm
Park and Palace of Pena – periods with exceptional guided visit timetables: In the fifteen days prior to Easter and in the months of July, August, September and October, the guided visits cover the park and palace but do not include the building’s interior. The latter may be visited freely at the end of the guided visit.
Furthermore, there is always the opportunity to book guided tours for your own preferred start-time for any of the monuments under the management of Parques de Sintra:
