Description
During the visit ‘At the Apex of Time’, led by the curator and restorer responsible for restoring this complex time machine, visitors will discover how the clock was brought back to life after remaining silent for decades. They’ll be welcomed inside the Clock Tower, climbing a steep, narrow spiral staircase and taking in the mechanism that powers this remarkable example of high-precision mechanical engineering from different floors before reaching the top of the tower, the highest point in the Sintra Mountains, offering spectacular views.
