The Princes’ Garden in the Palace of Sintra now open to the public6 December , 2013
The Princes’ Garden and the Tanquinhos Patio, in the Palace of Sintra, are now open to the public. The area, which was in need of maintenance work, has been totally intervened with the planting of flowerbeds and the maintenance of the boxwood hedges.
This garden is, along with the Tanquinhos Patio, a privileged location from which to view the palace’s façades and in which one can benefit of some fantastic views over the town centre and the Moorish Castle.
The garden will now undergo periodic maintenance with the regular trimming of the hedges and the planting of seasonal flowers.
