Lia Altavilla and Fernando João Domingos are two of the most notable figures of the Portuguese bel canto scene. With concerts being transmitted across the country by RDP and RTP, their music sees Portuguese classical renditions appear side-by-side along with some of Europe's most notable lied and opera composers. The Soprano and pianist will now showcase in Monserrate, reproducing a selection from composers such as Francisco de Lacerda, Schumann, F. Chopin, Cécile Chaminade, R. Strauss, Alfredo Keil, Gabriel Fauré, Luis Costa and Rodolfo Halffter.
