Parques de Sintra has now launched a video-call attendance service (with an interpreter) for the deaf community and provided in conjunction with the company Serviin. This enables deaf citizens to contact Parques de Sintra through an intermediary who communicates through sign language via means of a video call and who replies with the information provided by Parques de Sintra in response to whatever the question raised.
Contact may be made via the phone number 12472 (at a rate of €0.01 per minute) or through registering with the Portuguese Deaf Citizens Portal (free of charge). The service is available on working days from 9am to 6:30pm.
