The "7 Natural Wonders of Portugal" (7 Maravilhas Naturais de Portugal) initiative has selected the Cultural Landscape of Sintra - World Heritage site (Paisagem Cultural de Sintra - Património da Humanidade) as one of its 21 finalists.

The public voting period officially got underway on the 8th of March in a ceremony held in the Pestana Palace Hotel, Lisbon. Voting will continue until the 7th of September, when the new "7 Natural Wonders of Portugal" will be chosen.
