Yet another lecture as part of the 'BIODIVERcycle of Lectures' was held on Saturday, the 17th of July. It was with great pleasure and anticipation that Monserrate welcomed Professor José Manuel Anes, to speak about "The Symbology of Plants".

During the near 90 minute talk, all of those who participated in the initiative had the chance to learn about some secrets about plants and the manifestation that they can have in regards to human spirituality.

The next lecture will be held on the 31st of July, at 3:00pm, and will be attended by the local historian and writer, João Rodil; who will talk about "The fauna and flora of Serra de Sintra in Portuguese Literature", in what is sure to be a lecture that is not to be missed.
